I've missed the internet of late 90s through 2010s, and am so happy I have spent the weekend learning about those who've held out or returned to the personal website. It's inspiring me to leap back in! Thank you for keeping the internet special!

Your site is really cool, I love all the graphics and the style of it, and appreciated your manifesto and little history of your internet use. I missed the true boom of the best days of the internet and personal website & forums etc. (I just never got into forums until now, much regret!) but I did still play Runescape 
I love seeing creativity like this, and wish you luck with all your plans for this site

hey im a teacher too! 8th grade science. youve got awesome stuff! i might see if theres time in the curriculum to show them how to make a neocities acct. maybe around the time we watch the social dilemma, lol-- fuck mainstream social media !! thanks 4 inspiring me further

Thank you! I had some humanities classes in college that had us create simple websites to house our writing. They were some of my favorites, in part because of the websites. If you can get students to focus--I increasingly cannot unfortunately-- I think this could be a very memorable lesson for many kids.

Thank you! I would love to see more of us Millennials migrate away from the big hubs and make our own sites. I'm sure this will always be a niche part of the web, but it sure beats scrolling through a bunch of AI slop and rage-bait. Closing my Facebook has been a real boon to my mental health.
